In this December issue of The Mariner magazine there is an article about my work as a jewelry designer and a marine biologist (... or vice-versa).
"How do you stay inspired?" This is one of the questions that Brett from IAMTHELAB asked me during an interview about my jewelry work. My answer was: "All my pieces are inspired by the natural world and I find sources of creativity everywhere around me. I don’t need to go hiking or be out at sea with large whales to let my imagination go wild. I can just walk my dog near my home in Los Angeles and find inspiration in a piece of bark coming off a tree, a dead leaf on the ground or a lizard “sunbathing” on a rock."
